Camera 3: Setup & Turn On
Put tripod out & connect HDMI & Power
Remeber to strap HDMI cable to handle for support
Lens Shutter: Open (bottom right side)
Camera: Power On (top left side)
Camera 1 & 2: Turn On
Use remote to turn power on each camera
Green & Blue lights indicate the camera is in sleep mode
Blue indicates the camera is ready
Camera will move through movement test when turned on
TV Monitors: Power on
Multi-View Monitor (MVM) on right: use remote control
Proclaim Preview Monitor (PPM) on wall (Westinghouse): use remote control
Worship Center Monitor (WCM) (above Control Laptop): power button is on top right
Control Laptop Extended Monitor (on desk left of laptop): power button is on bottom right
ATEM Mini Pro (AMP) (on right): Input 1 determines the switcher framerate
Make sure AMP Input 1 is ON before powering on the switcher with power strip
Power Strip (on right below the MVM): Power on, which includes:
AMP switcher (on right) NOTE: Alternatively, this could do the pre-stream recording—if the RMC recording fails
Slitter for Multi-view monitor (MVM) HDMI (under TV)
All cam adapters (on right)
Director audio mixer (on left)
Behringer P-16M audio mixer (on right)
On the Computer Graphics Mac (CGM) (far left):
OBS: Start with propeller icon at bottom right
OBS Program Projector: Enable
OBS Window > Program Side (on right) > right click
Pop-up Menu > Fullscreen Projector (Program) > BMD HDMI: 1920X1080 @1920,0
Confirm projection on Input 4 ("Computer Graphics") of the Multi-View Monitor (MVM)
Startup Fire tablet (blue to right):
Start Internet
Bitfocus emulator should open
Can use this to run remotely if needed
Startup Samsung Edge phone (right of fire tablet):
Open PanTiltZoom App
Used for fine camera control & live movements
Startup Samsung phone (left of control laptop):
Open Kasa App
On the Control Laptop (center):
External monitor for Chrome browser (on left): Power on using the button on the bottom, far right
Windows: Log in, if needed
Stream Deck: Plug into USB on the right side (macro buttons device on right, near mouse)
AMP: Start ATEM Control panel using red target icon at bottom of screen
NOTE: This may take time to connect; if needed, go to File → Connection and select the switcher from the list (VCR ATEM Mini Pro)
Bitfocus Stream Deck Companion: Start, if needed (usually already running)
Open: Select [Launch GUI] to open Chrome browser Bitfocus tab to control the Stream Deck
Hide: Once running, click [Hide] to minimize to the Windows system tray; DO NOT CLOSE
Verify: Confirm connection to ATEM and OBS on the instances tab (center of screen, left tab)
If not connected, select third tab > [Rescan for surfaces] to activate the Stream Deck
NDI Studio Monitor: Start three instances using NDI launcher in taskbar
First instance: Proclaim Control Screen - Input 1
Arrange to take right half of the Proclaim Preview Monitor (PPM) on the wall, using [⊞ Win] + [→]
Second instance: Tech Notes - Input 2
Arrange to take upper left half of the Proclaim Preview Monitor (PPM) on the wall, using [⊞ Win] + [←] , [⊞ Win] + [↑]
Third instance: Proclaim - StreamKey
Arrange to take upper left half of the Proclaim Preview Monitor (PPM) on the wall, using [⊞ Win] + [←] , [⊞ Win] + [↓]
Chrome: Confirm or Open Chrome browser on the external monitor on the left
Standard browser tabs include: BitFocus, Vimeo, YouTube, Church Online Platform (ChOP), and connection speed testing
On the Communication Chromebook (on left, using touchpad)
Jitsi: Start tech comms meeting > dccprod
Ensure "Jounivo" is set as the mic set as the audio input
Ensure capture card is set as the video input
Once the meeting is launched, pin VCR screen
Turn both TVs off using the remotes
Turn off the power strip. This will power off:
AMP switcher
Multi-view monitor HDMI splitter
Director audio mixer
All cam adapters
Behringer P-16M audio mixer
On the Computer Graphics Mac (CGM) (far left):
OBS: Exit
(Let the mac time out for standby power)
On the Control Laptop (center):
Both external monitors: Power Off
Stream Deck: Unplug from the USB on the right side
Windows Apps: Leave all running
OPTIONAL: Close all apps for a rare full power down
(Let the laptop time out for standby power)
On the Communication Chromebook (left side)
Jitsi (Tech Comms): Hangup active meeting using red phone icon
Jitsi (Tech Comms): Exit
Kasa Status Light: Click [Off] for the "On Air" light
Kasa Status Light: Exit
(Let the Chromebook time out for standby power)
Turn all devices off
Turn off with remote (green & blue light indicate they are off)
Bring camera 3 into control room (if needed)
